The Tupiniers of Old Lyon
The Grand Marché des Tupiniers in Vieux-Lyon is the place to be for ceramics lovers and craft enthusiasts. For the 38th edition on 9 and 10 September, come along to the Place Saint-Jean in Lyon's 5th arrondissement.
First of all, do you know what a tupinier is? It's a potter who makes a certain type of ceramic called "tupin". For two days, Les Tupiniers du Vieux-Lyon will be hosting 120 ceramists from all over France and Europe. They'll be on hand in Place Saint-Jean and the surrounding streets to showcase their creations at a huge craft market. There's something for everyone:
