The different worlds of the Lyon aquarium

The Confluence: discover the species found in fresh and temperate waters such as Lake Annecy and the Saône: carp, pike, minnow and trout. These are closely related species that you don't often get the chance to see!
The tropical walk: the water warms up by several degrees with Mbunas, piranhas, turtles and other tropical fish usually found in Africa or the Caribbean.
The reefs of the world: head for the dark depths of salt water, where clown fish, moray eels, surgeon fish, Banggai cardinal fish and more can be found.
The Marine curiosities: this room is full of surprises, with scorpion fish, seahorses and other amazing species.
The shark tank: at 8 metres high and 450,000 litres, this is the largest tank in the aquarium, and also the most impressive! Two species of shark swim peacefully surrounded by small, colourful fish.

⏳ The Lyon Aquarium is open all year round, every day from 10.30am to 6.30pm. Last admission is at 5.30pm.
