The Planetarium is the ideal place to get together for a romantic or family outing.Just to the east of Lyon, in Vaulx-en-Velin, this is where your journey begins.
On site, you'll find a 1,200 m² permanent and temporary exhibition space and an impressive 15 metre diameter planetarium.
Enough to take you away from everyday life for an afternoon!
Discovering the universe and its mysteries
A number of activities are on offer to help you discover the universe:Astronomy sessions with slots reserved for younger and/or older children
A permanent exhibition, Histoire d'Univers - Du Big Bang au Grain de Sable, to discover the origins of the world
A temporary exhibition: discover From the Earth to the Stars until 14 September 2023
An astronomical garden to learn about the particularities and treasures that make up the Earth
Activities at the Lab, with several themes on offer: Our Blue Planet, Journey into the Void of Space (until 14 September 2023), Discovering Gravity and tours of the Observatory.
