Fourvière Nights 2024
Welcoming summer to Lyon
Welcome to Lyon! Renowned for its gastronomy, history and architectural heritage, the city has a very special charm. It owes this to the two rivers that flow through it, the Rhône and the Saône.
When the weather is fine, take part in one of Lyon's most emblematic cultural events: the Nuits de Fourvière.
A little history
Every summer since 1946, between the end of May and July, the festival takes place in the magnificent setting of the ancient theatre of Fourvière, as well as in other venues around the city.
In the beginning, the Nuits de Fourvière was intended to celebrate the arts and culture, particularly theatre and music. Set in a site steeped in history, built in Roman times, the performances are unique.
With an often eclectic programme, the festival has grown to embody the cultural and festive spirit of the city of Lyon.
Nuits de Fourvière, 2024 edition
In 2024, the Nuits de Fourvière return for a few months of live arts with a pre-opening event in Vaulx-en-Velin, 20 minutes from Lyon (25 minutes from your hotel).
Over 100 diverse shows await you, including discoveries and headliners. These include
- Louise Attaque
- Mc Solaar
- The National Orchestra of Lyon
- Edouard Baer
- Véronique Sanson
- IAM
This year's theme is the body, and will be explored through a variety of creations.
