What to see and visit in Lyon this summer

Head for the historic centre of Lyon! A place not to be missed, full of charm and rich in history: ideal for a discovery tour of the city. You will discover the famous Place Bellecour. The largest pedestrian square in Europe, the square offers a magnificent view of the Fourvière hill and its basilica.

And how could you not visit the largest urban park in France? A real green lung in the heart of Lyon, the Parc de la Tête d'Or is also home to a zoo with over 400 animals.

Take advantage of your stay to go back in time to the ancient era: Lyon has preserved a rich and unique heritage. In particular, you will discover the Ancient Theatre of Fourvière, a remarkable monument dating back to 15 BC.
You will be able to attend the Nuits de Fourvière: a historic multidisciplinary festival in Lyon. Dance, music, theatre... numerous performances take place from 1 June to 30 July 2022. Some performances take place in the ancient theatre of the Odéon, located right next to the Fourvière theatre.
